Gramin Khel Mohatsav

Ballaram Hanumandas Charitable Trust in the memorial of Late Chhogmal Chaudhary Ji organizes Gramin Khel Mohatsav every year in January, generally on the Republic Day. At Present the Khel Mohatsav is being organized in Rajiv Ghandhi Khel Stadium, Bahal which is handed over by State Govt. to BRCM Sports Society, Bahal for maintain it.The BRCM Sports Society, Bahal was establish on 22nd July 2011 to train the talented sports youth of this area in the various field of sports.

The prime purpose of Trust behind the festival is to make a platform available to the rural people of Haryana and encourage them to come forward to exhibit their inherent talent in sports. Approximately more than a thousand participants from various villages of Haryana participate every year in various sports, competitive events and the winners and runners up along with position holders in individual events are honored with awards and prizes by BRHD Charitable Trust. Camel & horse Show is one of the most sought after attractions on the occasion of Gramin Khel Mahotsav.

VIII Chhogmal Chaudhary Gramin Khel Mahotsava-2015 was held from 10th – 12th February 2015 at Rajiv Gandhi Khel Stadium, Bahal which was organized by BRCM Sports Society, Bahal under the aegis of BRHD Charitable Trust, Bahal. The Khel Mahotsava was inaugurated on 10th February 2015 by Sh. IPS Lamba, Deputy Director, Sports, Govt. of Haryana who was the Chief Guest of Opening Ceremony.  Mr. Chhajuram Goyat, Distt. Sports & Youth Affairs Officer, Bhiwani was also present on this occasion as Guest of Honour along with many reputed National & International Sports personalities such as  Sh. Limbaram, Padmashri & Arjuna Awardee (Archery), Smt. Dr. Sunil Dabas, Padamshri & Dronacharya Awardee (Kabaddi), Capt. Ashan Kumar Sangwan, Arjuna Awardee ( Kabaddi), Ms. Geetika Jakhar, Arjuna Awardee and Silver Medalist in Asian Games 2006 & Commonwealth Game 2014 (Wrestling), Ms. Manju Bala Swami, Asian Games 2014 Silver Medalist (Hammer Throw), Ms. Pooja Bohra, Asian Games 2014 Bronze Medalist (Boxing),Mr. Sonu Narwal, International Player (Kabaddi), Mr. Sukhveer,  Kabaddi World Cup Gold Medalist, Mr. Nand Lal,  Ex. Capt. Indian Army & National Player (Basketball) and  Mr. Sunil Kumar, Para Olympian (Athletic) were present during opening ceremony to inspire the youth of Bahal by their kind presence. The Inaugural Ceremony was marked by March Past, Torch Relay and cultural events which were presented by participants and students of various institutions managed by BRCM Education Society.

The closing ceremony of games was held on 12th February 2015 from 03:30 PM onward which was graced by the auspicious presence of Dr. Saket Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bhiwani, as the  the chief guest and Dr. Saleen, IAS ,Sub Divisional Magistrate, Loharu & Sh. Ashan Kumar Sangwan, Arjuna Awardee, Kabaddi, as the guest of honours. The  dignitories and Guests witnessed the Final Volleyball Match (Men) before the prize distribution ceremony.  The guests also appriciated the Horse riding and BRCM Vidyagram School’s Band Show for their excellent performance during Closing Ceremony.  Both, Dr. Saket Kumar and  Dr. Shaleen appreciated the efforts of Chaudhary family and expected that Bahal will definately produce international players in near future . They also appreciated the efforts of the BRCM team for the best maintainance of the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Khel Stadium, Bahal and which  is considered as the best stadium of Haryana.

The venue for the festival is Rajiv Gandhi Khel Stadium in Bahal which is also being maintained by BRHD Trust.
