Vision
BRCM Education Society (BRCMES), while providing leadership in education and social development is now endeavouring to sensitize its students, staff and related communities towards climate change & depletion of natural resources. As a conscious and responsible organization, BRCMES is enduringly committed towards protection, conservation & preservation of our environment. BRCMES is now emphasizing on all its institutional areas to become Green Campuses and venturing out to vehemently provide stewardship & training in adapting sustainable development.

BRCMES strives to incorporate green practices into its daily curriculum through internal and external efforts by specifically working in areas such as treating and reusing waste water, rain water harvesting, drip irrigation, recycling solid waste, composting, vermi culture, organic agriculture through use of dairy waste & cow dung & generation of biogas for multiple use and most importantly harnessing energy of Sun for water heating and producing captive electricity.

Mission
Sustainability is truly the need of the hour. As one of the largest Educational, Sporting and Cultural Organization of South Haryana, we have over 6000 Students and Staff across multiple venues within our institutional premises, involving varying quantum of power consumption. This mission of producing entire power requirement from number of Grid Tied Solar Power Projects is therefore an extremely crucial step, demonstrating our commitment to the society at large. BRCMES aims to successfully adopt a sustainable power model to generate its entire electric power requirement from Solar PV at all its Institutes on net metering basis under the new Institutional Solar Power Policy of GOH. This state-of-the-art PV solar installation projects approved by DHVVNL and HREDA, will substantially help BRCMES to reduce combined Grid Electricity consumption effectively to Zero.

These installations aims to reduce the BRCMES indirect carbon dioxide emissions by more than approximately 1000 tons per year. One of the most unique features of these installations is the entire concept and design has been done under the Industry Institute Partnership Cell of BRCMCET, by collaborating with renowned principal Vendor, a Tier one PV Module manufacturer and EPC Contractor M/s Vikram Solar Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata , who will build, operate and maintain these solar power systems for the next 10 years. The multiple PV systems will generate over 150,000 units of electricity on a monthly basis and will also export excess power back to the State Electricity Grid as all these solar power plants will be connected under the Solar Net Metering policy of Haryana Government.

BRCMES also aims to spread awareness about job opportunities in Solar Power Generation industry through Skill India Mission under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) under National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at its newly set up BRCM Skill Development & Training Centre, Bahal by training & transforming Rural Youth at a most advanced PV Solar Lab practically demonstrating Building, Operation, Electricity Production and Maintenance of PV Solar Power Plant in various upcoming residential and non residential scheduled training programs.
